Custom KW Clubsport coilovers were installed before the lapping day and Event #6 at MIR. With softer rear spring rates, the ride height and camber had to be significantly adjusted to stop the tires from rubbing. Once there was enough clearance, the Civic was able to put down lap times in the 1 min 35 second range. With only a twin charged EG Civic and a Z06 Corvette ahead of us, we were able to squeeze out another half a second and finish in 5th place for fastest time at a 1:34.9.
